With its four-star rating, the Madison Hotel is an intimate and warm location, ideally located in the 6th district of Paris, in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, just opposite its famous church.
It is also close to various tourist sites, such as the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay and the banks of the Seine.
The hotel is easily accessible by public transport, by car, but also by bicycle, thanks to the Vélib station that’s located right in front of the hotel.
Renovated in 2018, the Madison is part of the Maurice Hurand Hotels family group. It aims to establish itself as one of the best kids-friendly hotels in Paris – every host is unique, as shown by the kindness and availability of staff – from the maid to the receptionists, to the general manager.
Opened in 1925, the Madison is a flagship Parisian address, whose history blends with that of the famous district of Saint-Germain and its great intellectuals. Albert Camus shut himself up in room n ° 65 to finish the writing of his novel L’étranger, while Jean Cocteau was a lover of the hotel bar, where he came regularly to have ‘one for the road’.
Elegance and softness emerge from the different rooms, in light tones. Its cozy lounges, where it is good to sit down to enjoy a tea, invite you to relax and let go: borrow a book from the library, play a game of Scrabble, sip a glass of brandy…
The establishment has 50 rooms and suites, 1 breakfast room and 1 bar (self-service), 1 laundry room (washing machine, dryer and iron are available for free), 1 room service and 1 concierge service.
Everything is set up to make you happy, the service is irreproachable and discreet. The attentive staff are ready to satisfy your every need, while leaving you to take care of yourselves ‘as at home’.
For moms and dads who want to combine work with relaxation, the Madison also rents its rooms for conferences, interviews and business meetings.
Your four-legged friends are welcome at Madison. Bowls, baskets and blankets will be provided to ensure the well-being of your dog (for 15€/day).
The conciergerie, certified by the Clefs d’Or seal of excellence, offers a team of attentive concierges and hotel owners who will personalize your stay, advising you on the best restaurants, activities and visits to share with your family.

The Junior Suites are also perfect for your family’s stay. Lay out the 28 sqm (301 sqft) of the room with a queen size bed and an extra bed. The living room is separated by a sliding door and allows parents and children to enjoy their own space in privacy. Three adults can stay there and there are many possibilities for young children.
To complete the picture of your dream family vacation, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the rooftops of the capital. Indeed, the top floor of Madison is devoted to its most beautiful suite, the Madison Suite, which is like a real Parisian apartment. Its 38 sqm (410 sqft) houses a bedroom area, a separate living room, 2 separate toilets, 1 large bathroom with rain shower and a bathtub. No matter where you put your eyes, the beauty of Paris will amaze you: whether through the windows or on-the-wall photographs representing the capital. Notes of red and black decorate the interior of this unique luxury suite. A cot can be added and you can enjoy the bedroom area with either a king size bed or two twin beds.
A small detail that will enchant children at bedtime: the ceiling of the rooms is encrusted with dozens of tiny barely perceptible LED lamps, which create the sensation of a starry sky, once night has fallen.
When you are about to discover a capital like Paris, it is essential to start the day with a delicious breakfast. The Madison’s breakfast room, located in an elegant rotunda, welcomes you with its warm fireplace. You will enjoy a gourmet buffet with delicious pastries, homemade jams and teas from the famous Parisian house Le Palais des Thés. Elénita and Gislaine will take care of answering all your requests and will compose the breakfast of your dreams, with as a bonus, a formula without gluten. Once the morning is over, the room is transformed into an ideal meeting point for a tea in the afternoon, with a delicious slice of gingerbread in winter or for a light iced tea on a hot, summer’s day.
At any time of the day and until 2am, the Madison room service is ready to serve you delicious sweet and savoury snacks.
In front of the reception, the bar area offers self-service, delicious wines or a Nespresso coffee. If you feel a little hollow, make your drink a delicious and ‘so French’ Macaroon.
Although the Madison does not have its own restaurant, the Saint-Germain district is full of addresses for all styles: trendy brunches, typical brasseries, starred restaurants…Our favourite family restaurant is located just 5 minutes from the hotel. At Margherita (17, rue de l’Ancienne Comédie) young and old can enjoy delicious pizzas and also pasta with black truffles or succulent assortments of Italian cold cuts. On the second floor, a playroom is waiting for children with colouring books, a chalkboard with chalk and many other games and toys. On Sunday, from 1pm to 4pm, a clown comes to liven up the meal of your little ones.
