For more than a century, the Hotel Negresco has proudly dominated the Baie des Anges, which is considered as the most beautiful landscape on the Côte d’Azur. Built on the legendary Promenade des Anglais, the hotel enjoys a privileged view of the Mediterranean Sea. Thanks to its central geographical position, the Negresco presents itself as the ideal place to discover all the charms of the Côte d’Azur.
Nice International Airport is 5 km away and the cities of Monaco and Cannes are a half-hour drive away. The centre of Nice, with its lively restaurants, beautiful boutiques and museums, is just outside the hotel. The historic heart of Nice and its famous flower market are also within walking distance.
Inaugurated in 1913, the Negresco is one of the most emblematic palaces in Europe. Its neoclassical architecture with a baroque tendency testifies to the richness of its history and the hotel has maintained the highest level of excellence over the decades.
The Negresco mixes the old and the new. Each of the 100 rooms and 24 suites is inspired by the mythical periods of the history of French art. From the Louis XIII style to modern art, five centuries are represented.
Designed for families, ‘De Luxe’ rooms have an area of 50 sqm (538 sqft) and can accommodate three people. They offer space and peace and have a view of the inner courtyard of the hotel. Other rooms and suites offer a relaxing view of the sea and the park of Palais Massena with its centenary palms. The hotel features a gym and access to the private beach ‘Le Neptune’. WiFi is free throughout the property. A business centre and nine seminar and conference rooms are available for very busy dads and moms. Valet parking is available at a cost of €28/day and the hotel has special access for disabled guests.
The Negresco offers 2 restaurants and 1 bar. Honoured with 2 stars in the Michelin Guide, the Chantecler of the chef Virginie Basselot is considered the best table in Nice. The menu is inspired by Provence, respecting its traditions and its products. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, as shown by the magnificent woodwork of 1751 that adorn the walls. Lovers of wine will be stunned by the cave and its 15,000 bottles.
The Brasserie La Rotonde is a restaurant dedicated to the family, which displays brilliant decoration and a menu composed of great classics revisited. The carrousel and its wooden horses of the 18th century give it a magical touch that will delight the children. In spring, the sunny terrace opens onto the sea and invites you to escape.
The Negresco Bar is a cozy area decorated with walnut woodwork and 17th century tapestries. At nightfall, jazz and Latin music provide the atmosphere.
