Singita Lebombo Lodge is a majestic safari lodge, spanning 15,000 hectares of private land. The property is nestled between the ancient rocks of the Lebombo Mountains, on a plain where two rivers meet, in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Founded in 1898, Kruger Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in the world.
The domain, immersed in nature, remains easily accessible. Four weekly flights connect Johannesburg and Nespruit airports to a small airstrip that is a 45-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is elevated on the cliff like a large eagle’s nest. The architecture of the place blends perfectly with the natural setting.

Singita Lebombo Lodge is comprised of a main building, a rooftop relaxation area, a spa, 13 loft-style private suites, and a large, secluded villa, south-east of the estate.
The main building, which includes the common areas and the dining room, was designed by great architects and decorated by Cecile & Boyd, a renowned design agency in South Africa. Every detail has been thought out, from the leather chairs, to the two long pools, to the tasty dishes served by the Chef.
Three accommodation options are available:
- The 1 Bedroom Suite (65 sqm – 700 sqft)
The 13 one-bedroom, loft-style Suites, built on stilts along the cliff, have air conditioning, fireplaces, terraces with views of the banks of the Nwanedzi River, outdoor and indoor showers. They are elegantly furnished and contemporary. Several scenarios are possible for families: if you have a child under 10, it is unfortunately not possible to have him or her housed in a one-bedroom Suite. If you are alone and have a child aged 10-16, he will be able to sleep with you in the Suite, with a 50% discount. If you are a couple and you have a child aged 10-16, it is necessary to book an additional room, and the adult rate will apply for everyone.
- The 2 Bedroom Suite (160 sqm – 1722 sqft)
Outside the holiday periods, you have the possibility to book a Suite of 2 rooms, in the Private Villa of the domain. The Villa is split into two parts, but with perfect privacy for each Suite. Each 2 Bedroom Suite in the villa can accommodate up to 4 people. This is the perfect Suite for families with 2 children, who then have their own room.
- The Private Villa
During the holidays, you can book the whole private Villa which includes 2 separate suites to guarantee a perfect intimacy. The villa can accommodate up to 8 adults. The suites are spacious, comfortable and have glass walls for maximum brightness. Each suite has 2 bedrooms and a private pool with views of the river below. The villa also benefits from a communal pool and a large kitchen. The ideal place to spend unforgettable holidays with a big family. And what a pleasure to fall asleep with the family, serenaded by the song of hippopotami, lions and monkeys!
The cost per night (from 1,565€/night/person) includes safaris, meals, laundry service et return road transfers between the Satara airstrip and the lodge. Children under 2 years stay free and children under 16 receive a 50% discount on the price of their stay if they share a room with their parents!
The hotel’s kitchen is modern, fresh and sophisticated. It is prepared by Chef Liam Tomlin, who adapts to individual preferences, for a personalized dining experience.
You can have breakfast in the main building or in the bush. You can taste butter croissants, homemade muesli and Norwegian salmon with scrambled eggs, squeezed fresh orange juice and homemade jams.
At lunch and dinner, creative dishes are served as tapas. We recommend the spicy avocado carpaccio, corn risotto, squid on an ink semolina, as well as tender wild mushroom tender fillets, all accompanied by the best wines from South Africa.
