On Sunday 24th February 2019, Little Guest organized its press launch in one of its partner hotels: the Amigo Hotel in Brussels. Handpicked influential families, were invited to celebrate the event around a brunch, followed by customization of the suitcase workshop and a duck hunt.
After tasting smoothies and zakuski, the children and their parents met in one of the hotel’s conference rooms to decorate and accessorize their new travel companion. In the centre of the room was a long white table, with all the material needed for the most beautiful creations of the day: stickers, beads, sequins, sticky letters, etc. All the whimsical essentials to compose the colourful and playful four-wheeled luggage! The workshop was chaired by Jessica Veerapen, director of the event agency « Creatomic Agency », specializing in the organization of children’s events. To end the day, Little Guest invited the children to participate in a gigantic duck hunt, the emblem of the Belgian start-up. Scattered and hidden in every corner of the hotel, each duck was connected to great surprise lot, such as a Samsonite travel kit from the « Happy Sammies » range, a Little Guest postcard with coloured pencils, Naif solar products for children, plus a fur squirrel called « Rene », mascot of the Hotel Amigo. Since the launch, the event has received a lot of positive vibes on social media from bloggers, journalists but also from the Instagram followers of the startup. Press articles are also being published by the biggest national editorials.
This partnership is the first in a long line for the Belgian start-up. In the future, Little Guest wishes to develop more co-brandings with innovative and creative labels in the travelling field, to be able to continue to offer more exclusive privileges to globetrotting families.
