Little Guest S.A. (“Little Guest” or “we” or “us”) establishes this personal data protection policy which aims to inform users of the website accessible here (the “Site”), of the manner in which personal data is collected and processed.

What data do we collect?

Little Guest collects the following data:

  • Personal information: this includes your name, gender, address, telephone number, e-mail address.
  • Other information essential to Little Guest: language preferences, country of residence, number of children, age of children, travel budget, date of arrival and departure on holiday, etc.
  • Our site recognizes the servers from which visitors arrive. In addition, the IP address of your internet service provider is recorded.

 

How do we collect your data?

  • You provide Little Guest with most of the data we collect. We collect data when:
  • You send a booking form which can be found on most of our “hotel” pages.
  • You fill in a form on the website (newsletter subscription, membership application, …).
  • You voluntarily complete a customer survey, or you give us feedback or other information about your holiday by any means (sending an e-mail, on the website, …).
  • You use our site by means of cookies in your browser.

Little Guest can also indirectly receive your data from the following sources:

  • All partners who are in contact with Little Guest (Typeform – some Little Guest forms -, hotel contacts, commercial partners, …) in the framework of commercial agreements.
  • Social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest).
  • Lyra, our payment tool which is used to receive payments when we send you a payment link by e-mail. Please note that your payment details are not stored by Little Guest but are the responsibility of Lyra.

 

How will we use your data?

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

Booking management. Little Guest processes your personal data in order to manage and finalise the reservation you have made via the Site (proposal of an offer after request by the person concerned, registration of the reservation, special arrangements such as participation in the “Kids Club”, transfer to the hotel, invoicing, conclusion and management of the contract). These processes are essential for the execution of the contract between you and Little Guest. The data will be kept for a period of 10 years.

Requests for offers. Little Guest processes your personal data in order to respond to requests for offers made via the Site (registration of the request, proposal of an offer). This processing is necessary for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request. The data will be kept for a period of 10 years.

Marketing. Little Guest processes your personal data for marketing purposes (including participation in the contest and subscription to the newsletter). Processing in the context of the newsletter is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in each newsletter. The processing of your data in the context of competitions is necessary for the execution of the contest.

The data will be kept for a period of ten years / as long as you remain a subscriber to the newsletter.

Statistics. Little Guest collects information about the use of its services for statistical purposes. This processing is based on its legitimate interest in understanding its customers and improving its services.

Use of the website. Little Guest processes personal data relating to the use of its Site (cookies) on the basis of consent. The information obtained using functional cookies is processed on the basis of Little Guest’s legitimate interest (proper functioning of the website). Your personal data may be accessible or passed on to subcontractors (such as IT service providers and payment solution providers) and suppliers of Little Guest (such as transport companies and hotels chosen by you). How do we store your data?

Little Guest securely stores your data in the data centres (Google, Typeform, Zoho CRM) of our partners and in a secure NAS (network attached hard drive) at Little Guest, which can be accessed by several people in the company.

Little Guest will keep your data for a maximum of 10 years (starting from your last interaction with the company). Once this period has elapsed, your data will be permanently deleted from our database.

 

What are your rights regarding data protection?

Little Guest wants you to be fully aware of your rights regarding the protection of your data. These are as follows:

  • The right of access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data collected by Little Guest.
  • The right of rectification – You have the right to request the correction of your data on any information about you that you believe to be incorrect. You also have the right to ask Little Guest to complete any information that you think is incomplete.
  • The right of deletion – You have the right to ask Little Guest to delete your personal data from its databases, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal information – You have the right to request that Little Guest restrict the sharing of your personal information under certain conditions.

As a data subject, provided the legal requirements are met, you have the right to request access to your personal data, the correction or deletion of personal data, the limitation of processing, the portability of personal data and you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data due to your particular situation.

The Little Guest website contains links to other websites. Our privacy policy only applies to our website. If you click on a hyperlink to another site, our privacy policy no longer applies and you should refer to the policy of that site.

 

What about our partners?

Little Guest will ensure that its partners comply with applicable laws. Here are the various data that Little Guest may transmit to its partners in order to provide the best possible service: first and last name, number of children, age of the children, budget for your holiday project and the various other information that we collect during the process of booking a hotel (request for quote or online booking).
