My dream weekend at Anantara Vilamoura

Something that is both pleasing and surprising about staying at the Anantara Vilamoura is that the hotel is located in the middle of a giant golf course. The spot is calm and very beautiful with its carefully manicured greenery and rolling hills. I particularly love this kind of resort.

The hotel offers two outdoor pools: one for adults and one for families. There are two large zones that are separated from one another and are each connected to their restaurants and gardens. This is great for respecting the privacy of all types of travellers and allows families with children to enjoy themselves in a spot that is designed exclusively for them.

Guests staying at the hotel can reach the beach by car in just 15 minutes thanks to the shuttle service that runs regularly throughout the day. The beach is absolutely magnificent with fine golden sand and the calm sea with turquoise waters.

While the kids play at the kid’s club, parents can also visit the marina, where they have free access to the Puro Beach Club. The beach club is superbly decorated and offers one free lounger per person. The sumptuous beach club pool is surrounded by high-quality designer sunbeds.

One of my main goals was to visit the kids club. And all I can say is the club is perfect for children. Colourful, spacious, and entertaining, the Adventurer’s Kids Club invites its young guests to a land of amusement. The kids club even has its own heated indoor pool!

Younger children can join in the fun at the mini club which was overflowing with joy when I visited it. There were also many families there as well; parents discussing the activities together and children who were carefully observing their future playmates.

Personally, I spoke with a very nice organizer who discussed the club’s equipment with us. One of the kid’s club’s big pluses is that it is totally safe, and its programs are updated often.

The hotel also offers a teen club and a high-quality babysitting service upon request.

I had the opportunity to test all the hotel’s restaurants. The food is delicious, the menus are innovative, and the dining areas are extremely well adapted for families. Kid’s menus and highchairs are available for young guests. There are also numerous dining options at the marina.

All in all, the Anantara Vilamoura hotel is an excellent choice when vacationing in Algarve. The staff is very nice, and the equipment is impeccable. An exceptional spot which I highly recommend for an amazing family vacation!
