Travel to Portugal and Algave at Octant Praia Verde!

After several hours’ flight from Belgium, my partner and I landed in Portugal’s Algarve for a relaxing stay at the Octant Praia Verde!

Welcome drink and discovery of the hotel

We arrived at the Octant Praia Verde in the early afternoon, and after a glass of Prosecco, we had the pleasure of being accompanied by the receptionist for a complete tour of the hotel. What better way to familiarize ourselves with the premises and quickly get to know the hotel’s various services.

The hours of the kids’ club, the entertainment on offer, the free loan of paddleboards and bicycles, and even breakfast served at any time of day! Unheard of!

Once the tour was over, we discovered our room was ready and had the pleasure of being upgraded. You were treated to a sumptuous view of the surrounding countryside, with the sea as a backdrop. The decor of our superior room is both warm and uncluttered. The room overlooks the sea and the pine forest that separates it from the hotel.

Food and beach

We then enjoyed our freshly baked pizza on our terrace, taking in the peaceful views.

At the end of the day, we ventured down the pretty path to the beach, which we were eager to discover. The beach is immense, with fine white sand. We figured we’d come back in the summer to enjoy afternoons on this pretty beach bordered by dunes.

In the evening, our table was reserved in the hotel restaurant to discover the chef’s menu. All seasonal produce, all homemade. Don’t miss the fish soup – it’s delicious!

We then ordered a grilled sea bass from the day’s catch, served with baby vegetables. Everything was delicious, and the service was very pleasant.

After a good night’s sleep – don’t forget to take a mosquito repellent with you – we enjoyed a quality breakfast with a very wide choice before setting off for the next stop on our journey, the Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa, just 1 hour’s drive away.

Conclusion

A more than relaxing stay at the Octant Praia Verde, with very welcoming kids’ facilities and gastronomy that we won’t soon forget. I can’t recommend staying at the Octant Praia Verde enough, especially if you’re planning a stay of a week or less. Enjoy your trip with Little Guest!
