A very pleased family at Grand Hôtel Les Flamants Roses

As regulars at the Grand Hotel Les Flamants Roses, my family and I love to stay at this hotel situated in the south-west of France. In addition to its family atmosphere and its natural location, which charmed us at first sight, we reveal the many facets of our hotel’s charm.

Our family lives here, in the sublime Roussillon region. It is therefore natural that we visit them twice a year, once a week in August and a dozen days at Christmas. In order to enjoy our privacy while making the most of our time, my husband and I wanted the best hotel for our little tribe!

This is how we discovered the Grand Hotel Les Flamants Roses, an establishment located near the beach, very convenient for parents travelling with their child(ren). The welcome is always warm; the staff is very responsive and our little boy is always pampered!

Our big favourite: The Deluxe Room. Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea or the hotel’s gardens, with its generous surface area, it is perfect for a week-long stay for 3 people. One evening when I was very tired, the hotel offered us room service so that we could dine in peace and quiet on our private balcony. A little attention that quickly makes you feel at home.

In this hotel, guests’ well-being is paramount. In the kitchen, for example, the culinary brigade of the restaurant L’Horizon pays particular attention to the freshness and diversity of the products used. This way, our toddler has eaten healthy, varied and balanced meals without any qualms, a pleasure for him and for us! Every Wednesday evening, it is possible to attend the large signature buffet prepared by the Chef himself, to be enjoyed by the seaside with a refreshing view.

On the wellness side, Les Flamants Roses feature an incredible aquatic space. Our little one loved the open and heated swimming pool, accessible to children only at lunchtime and in the evening, times when toys, buoys and balloons are made available for them to play like crazy. Success guaranteed!

Outside the pool’s opening hours, our child has taken part in numerous activities at the kids-club, supervised by an adorable animator! Often outside in the summer, the activities were fun and allowed us to enjoy moments together while we knew our little one was safe.

We who know the region well, we affirm that the establishment enjoys an exceptional situation. A fine sandy beach is located just opposite, a recently built playground can be reached in 5 or 10 minutes on foot, walks along the banks of the Étang de Canet – Saint-Nazaire promise flamingo watching sessions or long walks… in short, the setting is entirely conducive to relaxation, even with children!
