Our dream stay at Candia Park Village

I had the opportunity to stay a few days with my spouse at the authentic Candia Park Village. We had an incomparable holiday experience and I invite you to discover why. 

The Candia Park Village, it is a place where we feel at home. It embodies the simplicity, the joy, the security and the sense of community which are similar values of Greece! As soon as we arrived, we felt the essence of the transmission of these values and the heritage by the local staff of the hotel. 

We had booked a one bedroom family apartment overlooking the village and it was an ideal choice. Very spacious (40 sqm), our cocoon had a splendid view of the sea, the pool and the whole resort from our large terrace. Our room was furnished with twin beds, a sitting area and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower.

In addition to our very nice living space, we had two other favorite spots in the hotel: the hotel’s huge outdoor pool and the private beach.

During our stay, we mainly came across families and we understood why. Indeed, we were pleasantly surprised by all the facilities offered by the Candia Park Village for the families and the children, it is the ideal place to keep your children busy throughout your stay! We found the sumptuous kids-club which offers numerous pedagogical and creative activities, a pool for children and the sports fields within the hotel. 

Concerning the equipment for the little ones, all the elements mentioned on the Little Guest website were available : strollers, dummies, emergency baby bottles, etc.

The beauty of Crete is breathtaking! If you wish to go on an excursion during an afternoon, I suggest you escape to the lavish village of Agios Nikolaos. In my opinion, it is a must during a trip to Crete. Indeed, its lovely small port surrounded by colorful houses, its numerous boats, its symbolic lake ornamented with red rocks make the village an attractive place! Moreover, the village of the Candia Park is located 5 km from the small town and the hotel offers the possibility to rent a bike. 

Agios Nikolaos is also a starting point to steer towards the Spinalonga island. We loved returning and discovering the history of this fortress and we highly recommend a visit during your stay at the Candia Park Village. 

The hotel is located in the heart of the Mirabello bay! We discovered magnificent and unique landscapes. From our spacious apartment, we were able to peacefully contemplate the Mediterranean sea from our large terrace!

It was very agreeable to be able to walk in the small alleys of the Candia Park Village to admire the luxurious vegetation.

Concerning the accommodations, they are equipped with a traditional and authentic decoration of Greece. Thus, we especially found a terracotta floor. 

To conclude about our stay, if you want to stay within a hotel extremely kids-friendly, the Candia Park Village is ideal! The hotel offers services, activities and equipment especially dedicated for babies and children. 

The establishment is located in the heart of the historical Crete and we were immersed in this rich heritage. 

Finally, the hotel offers services and accommodations with a very great value for money.
