Paradis Plage is located in the heart of the most famous surf spots of Morocco near Taghazout, in the region of Agadir. This hotel offers one of the best value for money.

Far from the tourist crowds in the heart of a three-hectare oasis facing the Atlantic Ocean, the hotel is surrounded by a splendid five-kilometre beach, backed by mountains.

The city of Agadir is a 25-minute drive away and Agadir airport takes only 45 minutes. The famous cities of Essaouira and Marrakech are respectively located at two and three hours away.

Paradis Plage is the First Surf Yoga & Spa Eco-Resort in Morocco. This hotel offers a unique concept, combining relaxation at the spa, meditation with yoga and exercise with surfing, paddling and body boarding. A discreet luxury environment, cooled by lush vegetation, perfect for families.

The resort has:

  • 105 rooms
  • 4 restaurants
  • 2 bars
  • 1 spa
  • 1 beauty centre
  • 1 gym
  • 1 large outdoor pool
  • 1 surf school
  • 1 secure parking
  • 1 amazing COMPLIMENTARY kids club

The hotel offers dedicated access for people with reduced mobility and a private path which leads the travellers directly to the beach.

Not to be missed: the surf house with its Chiringuito for organic salads and fresh fish, its fire place and its Spot Bar, all located on the beach.

The suites are located in a traditional house no higher than two floors and offer breath-taking views overlooking the sea and the High Atlas mountains.

The hotel offers spacious suites with large terraces and luxury suites with side by side rooms especially designed for families. The sophisticated and welcoming rooms are equipped with a double bed and a bathroom. They are decorated in soft, slightly bluish tones, while handicrafts and paintings bring a touch of warmth. Each suite has a Wi-Fi connection, a flat screen TV with satellite reception, a reversible air conditioning system, safety box, hairdryer, minibar, DVD and other amenities to ensure comfort.

To live the real life of surfer, elegant duplex beach bungalows with private gardens range are also available. Their names were inspired by legendary surfing spots such as Uluwatu, Bells Beach, Anchors and Hossegor. Their thatched roofs, real carpentry, oak staircases and wooden flooring create a special charm.

Four villas at 150 sqm (1600 sqft) are also available in the ground garden. They feature a living room, dining room, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The living room opens onto a large terrace with a spectacular view of the gardens and ocean.

At the 4 Paradis Plage restaurants, healthy cuisine and local economy combine to offer tasty and balanced dishes. Fish caught the same day, fruits and vegetables from an organic farm, everything is fresh and succulent. The 27 takes its name from the 27 kilometers separating Paradis Plage from the city of Agadir. In this à la carte restaurant, you will taste the best flavors of Moroccan cuisine. The Ocean offers generous buffets every morning and occasionally in the evening. To relax after an active day, the Lounge and its comfortable sofas are waiting for you! The opportunity to enjoy a delicious cocktail overlooking the ocean, or Moroccan pastries with afternoon tea.

More than just restaurants, Paradis Plage also offers real experiences such as the Chiringuito: this little snack-bar on the beach, at the surf club house, which you can privatize, or the Private Paradise concept (privatize a choice of the hotel or the beach to enjoy a dinner according to your desires). Crush on Khaima – privatized esplanade facing the sea and can accommodate up to 250 people for all your events.

We advise you the half-board formula, especially for children under 11 y.o.

Paradis Plage is a favorite place for children!

They can frolic in the large green areas, enjoy the pleasures of the beach and have fun on the large outdoor playground. The Kids Club is open seven days a week for kids from 4 to 12 years old, to give parents the pleasure of enjoying other activities reserved for adults. Supervised by instructors, including one nurse, children can indulge in the joys of crafts, painting, sports and board games.

The surf school welcomes children from the age of eight. Supervised by qualified instructors, the children are able enjoy surfing safely. Children’s menus are always available to satisfy toddlers’ appetites after long, lovely days at the beach. A babysitting service is available on request.

For gourmets, the Paradis Spa offers massage that is specially dedicated to children and is very tasty: the chocolate massage! 25-minute sessions are available for children aged from six years and may be shared with Mom and Dad, for an unforgettable moment of sharing.

Many family activities are available around the hotel, including pony, horse and camel rides. From 7 years, children can enjoy excursions in a quad or buggy.

At CrocoParc in Agadir, children will discover the most amazing crocodiles, allowing them to discover the living areas and the lives of these fascinating animals.

You should also visit the Atlantica Parc Agadir waterpark, where a separate wading pool has been created specially for children to safely enjoy, while the adults have fun on the water slides.

Each day, from sunrise to sunset, yoga instructors invite you to join them in one of two pavilions surrounded by lotus flowers, for dynamic and relaxing yoga sessions with soothing sounds, in a bright, open space. The Paradis Spa offers a wide variety of care, respecting the Moroccan Eastern tradition. The best natural products from here and elsewhere accompany care rituals for optimum efficiency: orange flowers, soap, argan oil, ghassoul, saffron, roses, honey, shea butter, red, black green or white teas.

The cosmetics partners of Paradis Spa, Afrikissime Shea and Themae, have been carefully selected to meet quality requirements, and guarantee your satisfaction. The spa covers 300 sqm (3229 sqft) and features a traditional hammam, a sensory contemporary hammam, several treatment rooms, a hydro-massage bath and a tea bar. You will also find a “Zen area” with hammocks and jacuzzis.

The Surf House of Paradis Plage Resort is the meeting point for surf lovers. It includes a bar area, lounge area and a large terrace facing the sea, to meet for a drink after surf sessions. A campfire is also lit to create a warm atmosphere. An outdoor cinema offers the opportunity to watch movies under the stars enjoying the sea air. While learning how to surf, looking for the perfect spot, the team is available to accompany you and make progress with you in the best conditions. Here, surfing, paddling and bodyboarding are king – you will understand why the famous brand Rip Curl Surf Accessories chose Paradise Plage as its preferred partner.

A oriental getaway to Morocco

Alexandre, 30 years old, a dandy who love paradise islands, from Strasbourg, France

Last May, my partner and I flew to Morocco to experience Paradise Plage. This luxury eco-resort is located about ten minutes from Taghazout, a typical village renowned for its surf beaches stretching as far as the eye can see.

A piece of paradise

We decided, before heading out, to rent a car, so as to be in control during our stay and to be able to visit the region as we please. Good to know: the hotel has complimentary parking near the reception. The nomadic traveller will also be delighted to know that Paradise Plage also offers transportation from Agadir airport, a valuable option for those who do not want to venture out alone on Moroccan roads!

We finally arrived at a sublime and serene establishment: walls gilded by the setting sun; balconies covered in a blue reminiscent of the ocean floor and surrounded by a huge beach. Moreover, we were struck by the ecological awareness of this resort: a superb outdoor swimming pool heated by solar panels is ready to welcome guests. It is in a nutshell a perfect intimate drop-off point for travellers seeking peace and quietness.

A cosy nest

Walking through the doors of the resort, we were warmly welcomed by a discreet and dedicated staff. We were served a refreshing local juice in the process, a real delight! The complex is spacious, with its rooms offering a breath-taking view of the ocean and lush vegetation scattered throughout the establishment. Modern and traditional, the rooms are decorated with ochre and bluish touches, a nod to the desert and the neighbouring Atlantic Ocean. The hotel also offers cosy bungalows and friendly villas.

We chose the Bungalow Plage for this weekend under the theme of surfing. Covering a floor area of 72 m², our cocoon consisted of a bedroom and a separate living room, modern furniture and above all a splendid furnished terrace, which became our favourite spot from which to admire the sunrise in complete peace and tranquillity.

A delight for children

Paradis Plage has an exceptional kids-club where toddlers can get excited and have fun in the company of qualified bilingual animators. The interior room is of moderate size to ensure maximum safety. The weather in the region is of course ideal for outdoor games. Bingo: the kids-club offers a wide range of free activities such as beach games and treasure hunts, which are always supervised.

Children under 4 years of age are not allowed to join the kids club without the supervision of their parents, but can be pampered by the super babysitters without any concerns. We were most impressed by the flexibility of the animators, who went to great lengths to spoil the children and make them enjoy a dream vacation.

A weekend rich In experiences

There is plenty to do in this hotel, which carries its name so well, in terms of spending time and trying to reconnect with oneself with some degree of success! For our weekend, we tried (and approved) among other things, the yoga sessions conducted by an ever smiling and humorous local coach. Nothing beats opening your chakras in front of the ocean. Given the mild Moroccan climate, we preferred spending time at the beach rather than in the pool. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away, via a lovely path through palm trees that leads straight to deckchairs, set up by the dedicated staff of Paradis Plage!

We took the opportunity to go to Agadir, 30 minutes by car, to visit the largest souk in Morocco: Souk El Had! With every metre walked, we got more enchanted by the scents of spices, olives and cedar. After enjoying these oriental scents, we walked through the lively streets of Medina and made some unexpected encounters… with goats! There are indeed a large variety of animals on the streets of Agadir, enough to brink a sparkle to children’s eyes.

A gourmet break

After a hectic escapade to a souk filled with delicious treats, our respective stomachs welcomed the idea of a hearty meal in the hotel’s restaurant «27». It’s staff are cheerful and professional. I personally went for an exquisite beef fillet, accompanied by a Moroccan wine. Following this feast, we wanted to enjoy the last rays of the sun on the terrace of El Chiringuito, the hotel’s lovely beach bar, soaked in the sound of waves and the crackling of the wood fire.

In summary, it was an excellent stay in this luxurious establishment where the high quality of services fervently counteracted the sometimes-tarnished image of tourism in Northern Africa.

I highly recommend them!
